Loves accessories, jewelry and ornaments. Multiple necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings all in gold and different gemstones - dainty and complex.
Often appears with makeup, at least around the eyes. A dramatic eyeshadow and eyeliner can never go wrong.
He wears shirts with the sleeves rolled up, tie is optional, suspenders (not with clips, those are for children), dress pants or jeans, and brogue shoes, or something along those lines.

TRUE FORM

A grotesque and demonic goat creature. There are disfigured arms, legs and wings growing from places they shouldn't, moving independently. Several eyes litter his head and body, all either moving independently or staring at the same point. The eye sockets are however empty of eyes and instead have a faint glow deep inside. It looks like he has weak embers burning inside his chest cavity. Edges of his dry hide look scorched and sometimes smolder faintly. He still wears jewelry that is draped over his horns, head, and body.

The first iteration of his design - it's not exactly what he looks like, but it's the same general shape.

Personality

Leadership abilities, independent and acts on his own initiatives, creative, charismatic, calculating, driven. Hedonist, liar, doesn't follow laws and rules that don't fit him and has his own set of laws and rules, opportunist, problems with authority.

With the curiousity of a child, Azazel loves to explore new places and meet new people. He's social and talkative, and it doesn't matter if he's the only person around. However, he does enjoy being around others and dislikes being alone, and it's difficult to make him leave when he's around. He hates being told no and is dramatic about it. Very dramatic in general.

Despite what people say or think, there is kindness in him. Like any other angel, it is in his nature to serve and the trait is deeply rooted. He wants to help, be of use, and teach.

But he can be truly abhorrent. There are no limits to his hunger and his wrath is endless. He lusts too much and can at times not keep his hands or dick to himself. He wants, needs, and destroys. Insatiable in every way, it can be difficult to control. You have been warned.

Background

Azazel has had quite the journey. He began as an angel, a seraph and one of the watchers, and got banned from Heaven by God and essentially turned into a demon, was worshiped enough to acquire the status of a deity himself, and then once more lost power to "only" be a demon.

It began with Azazel leading a "rebellion" against God and came down from Heaven together with a bunch of other angels to chill with the humans. He taught humans how to create and handle weapons, he taught them how to make themselves even more beautiful through makeup and jewelry, and how to deceive others by changing their appearance. Azazel and many of the other angels had sex with the humans who gave birth to children - monstrous beings, giants, and half angels.

To no one's surprise, God wasn't really happy with this situation. He had the children, humans, animals, everything killed. He then banned Azazel from Heaven, and had Raphael bind him in the depths of a mountain. He would carry the sins of mankind and he would never be forgiven.

Cults arose in his name and rituals were held to keep God happy and the villages free from sin - one goat was slaughtered to God, and one goat was sent out to the desert to Azazel. As time went by, the cults' beliefs empowered Azazel to raise him to a deity. He broke free from his mountain but was cut off from the angels in Heaven.

The cults died out. The rituals became forgotten. Azazel's status sank. Once more, he was nothing but an angel who has been cast out from home, doomed to roam the wilderness of Earth until the Last Judgement. The times, cultures' beliefs, and his punishment changed him. Never had he been malicious or wanting to do harm before his rebellion, and somehow it grew along with anger inside of him.

Angel of sin

Once an angel, always an angel. He still has his angelic powers and has acquired new ones. The only angelic power he doesn't have is holy fire, as he doesn't have access to Heaven anymore.

Azazel is an extremely sexual entity and makes sexual advances on almost everyone he could fuck, sometimes aggressively so. You can tell him off. He'll just be a drama queen about it.

Azazel's vessel is named Mateo Ramos, a kind and nerdy guy with schizophrenia and catatonia. When Azazel leaves, Mateo is usually left catatonic. Sometimes Azazel cares enough to get some medication into the human, but that rarely happens. Mateo has little insight into his illness and can't handle medication on his own. He's technically an escaped felon because Mateo was an inpatient at a forensic psychiatric hospital for murder when Azazel came to him.
